Newer teachers face a struggle as they enter the profession.

With all there is to face as new teachers, from fearing what administrators think of them to feelings of inadequacy to students who prey on that weakness to fretting about whether there's enough content to fill the class time, there's a lot to worry about as a new teacher.

This can leave a new teacher feeling trapped and alone -- and desperately seeking for answers.

With all of the pressures facing school administrators and their seasoned teachers today -- from parents to multitudinous meetings to administrative responsibilities -- finding enough time to provide support to newer teachers may be difficult, despite the very best of intentions.

So often, mentors can't find enough time to mentor; department chairs can't find the time to get into classes; and administrators barely have time to ask, "How's it going?"

But providing that time, attention, and guidance is critical to the success of new teachers. What is the solution?

Sustainable Teaching is the Answer!
